The main reason that I joined this college was that it was the best choice available for the scores I got in 10+2. Moreover, SICSR has a good a academic and placement record.
Internships Opportunities
We even has students getting placed in Amazon with CTC of 20 lpa. More than 90% of that students got placed this year. It was a good placement year for most of the students of this college.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities for SICSR students are pretty good. Plethora of companies have visited the campus in the past years. This year we saw companies like Deloitte, TCS, Accenture etc. taking students from the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship is granted to students of the college except to the year topper at the end of the degree but i am not sure how it exactly works and how much is granted.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is about equal which is pretty good i guess. Parties, co curricular activities take place almost every other week and with huge participation keeping students in good form. Dance, Debating, Music, Theater are one of the best Student clubs working to make life interesting here. Robotics is also a hugely followed religion with teams winning in competitions all over India.
Faculty
All of the senior faculty here is very interactive and qualified. They impart very apt approaches and thinking to the students but most of the junior faculty also take this very seriously. On the basis of qualification, many of the junior faculty are good.
