I have opted for this college because it is one of the most placement friendly college in Pune with good ranking, infrastructure, faculty and top class and good courses that makes it different from other colleges or universities.
Placement Experience
During my placement session, many companies visited our campus, which gave everyone ample opportunities to get placed. I don't have the exact stats, but a majority of the students were placed through on campus placements. We had many companies visiting our campus, be it from high-end companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are given out to those who need it and perform really good at academics also scholarships are provided to students from backward castes and tribes.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni do help in building a strong network for the college. In SICSR, alumni do play a part in getting their companies to the campus for on-campus placements. Even the seniors are quite helpful in guiding their juniors. But as far as I know, there are no alumni meets organised by the college for the alumnus to get together and keep in touch with the college.
Faculty
I would rate the faculty to be average. Some faculty really puts in their efforts to make the student learn, some really don't. But overall I would say that in SICSR, a student has to self-learn, rather than being dependent on the faculty. Majorly, in my opinion, the student has to figure out a way to study by themselves, even if they are totally attentive in the class. But that is just what I think.
