Course Curriculum Overview
According to me, the curriculum is good but it's a little bit longer to be covered in one semester. Although the faculty members are fully enthusiastic and are with the students. Faculty members are all gate qualified and many have already done PHD. In the ECE department, there are 15 faculty members and over 50 students which I think is more than sufficient. Our curriculum is designed such that the students have to study thoroughly and so as the exams.
Placement Experience
In my college students in the 6th semester can sit in the placement drives. There are more than 200 companies which visit our college every year and more than 2000 students get placed every year. Some famous companies are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini etc. The highest package of UCER is 25lakhs per annum and the average package is 3.5lacs 90% of students get placed every year. I will work in an IT firm
Fees and Financial Aid
When I got admission to UCER I submitted the fees which were 120000 but from the second year, the fees came down to 108000 which is exciting. In UCER we can get scholarships through three methods i.e. Central government scholarships, state government scholarships and college scholarships. Good students who are financially weaker can also get a fee waiver facility so that 90% fee is free.
Campus Life
In our college 2 annual fest are held ie. Founder's day and enigma. Celebrities come from Bollywood and perform there. Dj nights also happen sometimes. Our college has one tech-fest known as UNI-TECH FEST. College students make societies and clubs and they also conduct many events. We have a very huge library in which the books and journals are there which are written by very renowned authors.
Admission
UCER take admission by the results of JEE MAINS and there are some management seats for direct admission also. The admission form is available on their website with a contact number if you have any queries regarding admission. The admission process is very simple. Even if you get average marks in JEE MAINS you can get admission here smoothly. A fee waiver facility is there in college for needy students where they only have to give 10% of the fees. I think the admission process is already very simple so no improvement is required
