Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum focuses on web development first then full stack. The faculty is qualified and very helpful. As per the student ratio though, one faculty is not enough. Would like the class to be divided into groups of students further. The faculty teaches all theory during class hours and during lab hours they focus on practicals more. Exams are held every month as per the course curriculum and duration, they are quite hard but can be managed to pass.
Internships Opportunities
There are many tech clubs that also somehow tend to provide some sort of internship opportunities. The promotion teams circulate the same. The stipend depends on the same. There are clubs that give startups a boost and also provide capital for good ideas.
Placement Experience
The college is quite promising at providing placements. The average package is 6 to 8 lakhs and the lowest might start from 3 lakhs. Many prominent companies visit and recruit skilled students. The highest package to date has been 1.1 crores. In the third semester, the companies start to seek to recruit.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarships are given as such. Campus placements have a good package of 6 to 8 lakhs on average. The total cost of the course is 6.6 lakhs. There might not be any financial assistance as the college is private.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is the best thing all over. It is quite spread over and it is overall nicely maintained. The infrastructure of the hostels is average but overall manageable. There are many blocks where different course classes are held. There are 2 libraries. Very lively indeed, the college has a good strength of students. There are various clubs as well and extracurricular activities happen once in a while. Also, many hackathons and events are held quite often.
Hostel Facilities
There are 4 hostels for girls and 6 hostels for boys. There is one hostel for foreign exchange students as well. The hostels are somewhat good but quite crowded. Some hostels have common washrooms and some have attached washrooms. The rooms are 4 seaters or 3 seaters. Meals are good but the quality dwindles. Overall hygiene is also good. Registrations for hostels happen during orientation and can also be booked beforehand.
Admission
There are entrance exam criteria as of now. The admission criteria were based on board marks and jee percentile. For boards, 60 percent were mandatory and for jee, it was 60 percent. Admission can be done at chitkara school, Chandigarh, and the university itself. The application fee was 10,000 plus the fee for the first sem which is 82,000.
