Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty Student ratio is around 1:15. Many faculties have PhDs from well-reputed schools abroad including Ivy Leagues. All teachers have excelled in their field of study. The exams are often challenging and averages go low.

Internships Opportunities

Big companies like Google, Amazon, etc visit IIT Delhi for finding interns. Internships stats are not as good as placement stats (around only half the people get internships) . From 3rd year, companies give internships

Placement Experience

Most of the students get placed. The package amount varies from a few crores to minimal lakhs. The average package is around 16lpa. Google, Microsoft, and Amazon visit IIT Delhi. Students get placed in the 6th semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The financial assistance is provided only to people of reserved categories or to students whose parents earn less than 5 lakhs per annum. Scholarships like IITD Endowment Scholarship given to meritorious students on the basis of their GPA.

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest RENDEZVOUS and tech fest TRYST are conducted in march. Literati, BeCon, and Kaizen are some other fests. All textbooks are available in the central library. BRCA is the club for cultural activities.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel conditions at IIT Delhi are pathetic. A single-capacity room is allotted to two students. Evening snacks are never provided. The mess food condition is okayish. The registration process for Hostel is easy.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The course can be availed by first qualifying for JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. The application form can be found on JEE Advanced website (fees are around rs 2900). Scoring 75% marks in board exams is a must.

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

The placement status of the college is nice but specially the older status was amazing and the seniors told me that this year was the recession time so the placement was not so good but it will be good with time

The best way to know college

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company.Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.

Summary of IIT-D

I applied in many colleges like SIT, VIT, BITS Pilani, Different branches of IIT, NITS. I had no thoughts of joing this college specifically. I chose the best one comparing with other colleges. M.Tech CSE IIT DELHI Review

I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges. I had applied to IIT bombay, IIT Jodhpur, IIT madras and IIT kanpur but I got offer for IIT Delhi before all the other colleges. The admission process is common for all iits as it happens through GATE score and the COAP portal.
