- I liked the behavior of the seniors towards the juniors.seniors are very friendly and supportive, there is no word like ragging exists.

- The campus is not very satisfying as there are many vaccant and unused areas .All areas are not occupied.
- There is no gym in the college which is very bad.
- Mess food is also not very good and i dont like it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the computer science and engineering department by looking into the craze and impact of this department. The faculties are good but not of superb level and boys are to girls ratio in this branch is 1:4.The faculties are well qualified from IIT's and teaching methods are also very decent. The term exams are taken every four to five months and it's not very difficult to paas the examination even if you start studying sincerely ten days before the examination, you can top the exam.
Internships Opportunities
AICTE internship, NITI AAYOG Internship scheme, Google summer internship, UNESCO internship, etc are some internships that are pretty good. The roles offered are software engineer, data scientist, etc.
Placement Experience
Campus placements mainly start in the fourth year. The top recruiters of nit jamshedpur in 2023 include Atlassian, uber, direct, HSBC, Microsoft, Deloitte, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. A total of 97.2 percent of people get placed. My plan after getting my degree is to get placed in Microsoft.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very high and I think it's over far as I had expected from a government college. The cost of study for four years without any fee remission will be approx ten lakhs which is a very huge amount. There are different types of scholarships in which one can get enrolled into like E-KALYAN, FFE, etc scholarships. These scholarships provide approx 160000rupees per year which is very beneficial for students.
Campus Life
The annual fest of the college is CULFEST organized in the month of February and OJAAS is the tech fest organized in this college in the month of April. The library is quite good but all types of books are not present in the library example for literature all types of books are not present and if you want to prepare for UPSC from library books then this is not gonna happen because books are not present. Sports facilities are good, Many inter-branch and inter-NIT events are organized in this college. The social clubs of the colleges are NSS, UBA, DYS, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are very good almost all facilities are provided in the rooms except air conditioner. Meals are average not of the best quality but you can manage it. The registration process for the hostel will be done on the college's official website and affordability is quite high approx sixty five thousand per year.
Admission
Eligibility of the course is that you have to qualify JEEMains examination with a good percentile. The minimum percentile to get into college for home-state students is 95 percentile and for outside-state students is 96 percentile. For application form you can find it in NTA's official website, the application fee will be 1000 this year and the application dates will be in April this year. There are reservations for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and GENERAL -EWS students in this examination, for general ews reservation is 10 percent, and for obc it is twenty-seven percent. Yes, I want to see many improvements in this examination process as during our there are many cases of unfair means and cheating issues also online lagging of questions was a big concern during our time so I was very annoyed with these types of concerns and I definitely want to see improvement in these examination processes. This unfairness means many undesirable candidates got admission into good renowned colleges which is not acceptable.
