Remarks

Management is really good and helpful. You need to work hard to make your presence but eventually you will get some of the opportunity. The management has help me a lot during my tenure. I believe that the college must take care of quite students and help

Entrance Preview

I just cleared my 12th with 61% i had sports quota for same college i chose the course because it was about media and advertising and I wanted to get into Ad Agencies the admission process was really smooth if you have good percentage also there is Punjabi quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum was great related to media fields curriculum covers Media Planning, Digital Planning, Photography, Movie Making, Advertising, Media Research, Consumer Behavior. The course is full of Fun and Enjoyment in addition to great future if you are interested in Advertising or Journalism.

Internships Opportunities

Companies came during my years were DDB Mudra ,Ogilvy & Leo Burnett the stipend was around 5000,maybe to No-pay. But usually you will get a chance to work with Big Players of the market.

College Events

4

The festivals are not so big to get arranged on Inter college, but they are good enough for intra college some of the festivals are arranged with other courses together. The IVs are really good and lots of fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is really feasible. I paid a fee for around 18000 each year, I guess this is really low fees during this time. In my second year I paid the fee around 18500 and in last year the fee was 19000 something. But if you have any minority quota you will get some cash back as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea about this but if you ask the college coordinator she can give you proper knowledge there maybe scholarships available but I am still doubtful.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular is execllent we do not require labs in BMM, sports, competitions are good, they arrange sports day as well. Gender ratios can be 50-50% equally boys and girls, There is no discrimination regards gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status .

Hostel Facilities

4

There is no hostel facilities available not even mess. It is city college so all these facilities won't be available anywhere.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, The coordinator has good reputation with Alumnus. So she arrange programs in a while to call alumnus and ask them to give speech about Industry Demand and Experience. The programs are really knowledge to know depths of the industry. I have many contacts with my college seniors and they have helped to learn great things from their experience.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is totally chilled out, you don't need to study any hard at all. A little part of the brain can help you crack the exam easily. For good percentage you need to study hard though.

Faculty

4.5

The Faculty is really good, The head name is Sangeeta Makkad and she is really helpful and tough at times. She strive really hard to get placements at the college and encourage her students to not only study but to take part in extra curriculum activities

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.
