Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course in abes because it is known for its placement in aktu. The faculty is very helpful and nice. There are 32 assistant professors and 4 professors in this college. The exams are very difficult and one has to prepare really well to be able to get good marks.
Internships Opportunities
There are internships provided by the colleges like Infosys for 10-20k per month. Students can also get off-campus internships. There are around 40% of students doing internships from the 4th semester. Internships are usually for developers' jobs.
Placement Experience
From the 4th semester students are eligible for internship and from the 6th semester, they are eligible for placements. There were various companies like amazon which got 26 students placed at a pakage of 44 LPA, and Walmart which got 20 students at 20lpa. There is a 100% placement record last year. The highest package was 44.7 LPA and the Lowest package was 3.5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is around 140k per year ie 140000 You can get scholarships of government or various other provided by aktu itself. Financial assistance may be provided depending upon your background . The packages compensate the fees so it is worth it.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good and fun. The techno fest is conducted in the winter. The library has a variety of books and one can avail it for 2 weeks maximum. Every classroom has an AC and a smartboard. There are various courts and grounds for specific sports. There are a number of clubs run by the students and it is very fun.
Admission
The eligibility for btech course is 10+2 pass The application form for direct admission can be found on abes website. The counseling is done by aktu in which jee mains marks are taken into consideration.
