Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is quite good in my college. They have high qualifications, except for some. But they are quite strict about the attendance of the student and this fact has made this college, a school. Faculty: Student ratio is fair.
Placement Experience
The college is quite good in terms of placements. The average package does not quite different from the other private colleges but the placement process is better. They have a separate team in the college for the placement activities of the students in the third and final year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fee of the college is about 1,30,000 per annum which is not very high compared to other private colleges in the area. Students can even apply for scholarships. There is a special provision for female students for the scholarship.
Campus Life
This college is the ok college in this scenario. There are clubs but they do not have the independence to conduct fests in the college. There is an annual cultural fest of the college which is not held for the past 4 years. The criteria for minimum attendance is quite high and students are detained from upcoming exams in the college if they don't fulfil the criteria. Wearing a uniform is compulsory. Students are not allowed to roam the college campus during lecture hours. They are not allowed in the lecture if they are one minute late. It is basically a school in this scenario.
Admission
I got selected for UPSEE/UPTU examination. My college cutoff went from 7000 to about 14000 ranks in this exam that year. AKTU university used to conduct this exam for admission to the college of UP but now every college is covered under JEE Mains. Reservations are provided to ST, SC and OBC category students.
