Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for MBA Business Analytics at NMIMS Mumbai is leaned towards the technical side where we are given hands-on experience with analytics tools and software in our classrooms and the curriculum consists of a lot of projects which make us a well verse in all the things that are being taught in the classroom.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered at the end of 1st year for 2 months, many big companies like Yes bank, Vodafone Idea, Godrej Capital, Groww, L&T, Herseys, RBL Bank, and JM Financial come to the campus to offer internships. The stipend is an average 50,000 per month.
Placement Experience
Placements are top-notch in NMIMS Mumbai for the course of MBA Business Analytics, it is one of the best in the country. Internships are provided after the 1st year and in the 5th trimester, the final placement drive starts and every student is eligible for it. Many major companies like Yes bank, VI, Colgate, Herseys, L&T FS, Experian, and many more visit the campus and offer placements. The average package is 15.6 LPA for MBA-BA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are at par with other colleges that offer the course MBA, it is 9 lacs per annum and the course is spread over the duration of 2 years. There are no scholarship options available as far as I know but we can finance our fees through many options of student/education loans.
Campus Life
NMIMS Mumbai campus life is rich and varied. MBA student social life, clubs, and infrastructure at NMIMS Mumbai: Social Life: Students from throughout India and the world gather at NMIMS Mumbai to learn, mingle, and make new friends. Cultural festivals, sporting tournaments, and guest lecturers occur on campus year-round. Students can join clubs and organizations to meet people with similar interests. Clubs:NMIMS Mumbai provides clubs for marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, sports, and culture. The Marketing Club, Finance Club, Entrepreneurship Cell, and Culture Committee are popular. Infrastructure: The site has modern classrooms, lecture rooms, and conference rooms. NMIMS Mumbai has a well-stocked library. The library features JSTOR, EBSCO, and ProQuest. Projectors, microphones, and speakers aid learning in classrooms.
Admission
For admission into NMIMS Mumbai, I first gave NMAT exam in which I scored 220 out of 360. The cutoff for that year was 215 so I made it to the WAT-PI round. In that round, we were asked first to write an essay on a given topic which was evaluated and then we moved forward to the PI PI was for about 15 minutes and the panel was very friendly and welcoming. I made it through the process and finally received the offer letter.
