Course Curriculum Overview
In the first year, the student are divided into 2 groups - A and B. The group share the same course and after first semester, the course content between them get swaped. So, the overall syllabus is same for all student in first year. In each class, there are about 60-70 students. Each lecture is about 60min long. Some faculty members are strict while some are good. It is always better to behave good with all of them. In each semester, there is 2 internal exams (usually after 1 month each) covering 50% of syllabus each. And after this, we have external practicals and external exams. It's not too difficult to pass the exam even you only study during weekends.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know much about this but faculty member share the links of all opportunities in the class group and support students with their internships. If you are doing internship, you don't need to submit mini-project during semester.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for on-campus placements in 7th semester (starting of 4th year). Around 50+ companies come and 200+ offers are made. Top companies are Byjus, Adobe, IBM, etc. The highest package is around 35Lakh on-campus and 73Lakh off-campus. About 70% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees is about 1,19,850. If you choose to live college hostel, you will need to pay 95,000 for hostel. There are some scholarships available under UP government to which you can apply and get your tuition fees reduced to 0.
Campus Life
The size of the college is decent. One thing good about the college is that it has many clubs/society which will suit your interest. From dance,drama to drones, coding, etc, the college has society for each of these. This helps like-minded people to work together and share their interest. The college library is also very good, has large collection of books along with computers and wifi facility. The college campus has facilities for basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton, table tennis, etc. The college also has annual fest named - ZEALICON.. in which lots of fun activities happens.
Hostel Facilities
The college has hostel facility for both boys and girls. Both AC and non-AC rooms are available. Each room is shared by 3 students. You need to apply hostel as early as possible as it get filled quickly. The meal in hostel is okay... but it can be improved much better. If you don't get college hostel, you can go PG and other hostel. A lot of PGs/Hostel are also available near the college
Admission
First of all, you need to apply for the counseling through the AKTU portal. After that, you need to register there and upload the relevant documents in the given format. The timeline for admission procedures is available on the AKTU website. If you come under the reserved category, you will get some benefits as the cut-off of OBC,ST/SC is usually lower than the normal cutoff. After filling up the form, you can choose your preferred branch and course and participate in the counselling round.
