Decent but promising and growing university.

I chose the CSE course because of its demand and my inclination toward software technology. The faculty: student ratio is good. There is no problem regarding the faculty number. There are optimal substitutes for teachers in case of absence. The qualifications of the faculty are decent. Many are Ph.D., some are post grads and some are masters or currently pursuing masters. The teaching methods are quite an old school like more theoretical weightage but the teaching is good. The exams and tests are conducted timely and the difficulty level is decent.

Internship opportunities are offered by companies like Amazon, coding ninjas, TCS,etc. The roles offered are like jr. Sde and trainee. Stipend varies from 15-20 k to 1 lakh per month. Many students from our college also got off-campus internships with high stipends. Some students are even GATE rankers.

The placements at our college are decent. From 3 Rd year onwards students become eligible for placements. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, Cisco, Wipro, Goldman Sachs, and TCS visit our campus. The highest package was around 40 lpa offered by Amazon. The average package is around 4-5 lpa offered by TCS, Wipro, etc, and 15-20 lpa offered by Goldman Sachs, Cisco, etc. The percentage of students getting placed is around 90% of the total applying candidates. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own business or agency which will also be including the skills I learned during college life.

The fee structure is as follows: For all 4 years Sem 1 - 80000, Sem 2 - 75000 The hike in fee for every year's new admission is around 15k. The total cost of study for 4 years is around 7 to 8 lakhs. The scholarship is provided by a company called Cummins India. I am a first-year student so I didn't get any job of course but a lot of my seniors got good placements.

The campus life is very good and lively. The annual fest of our college 'Moonstone' is conducted in March or April month. The library and classrooms are well equipped and well maintained and stocked regularly. There are a good amount of sports and extracurricular activities happening almost every other day. There are surely many social groups, clubs, and websites run by students for students that are very active.

The eligibility criteria for Btech CSE is 75% in the 12th board. As such, there is no entrance exam but there is a scholarship aptitude test called MUSAT. The admission form can be found on the official website of Medicaps i.e. medicaps.ac.in. I have not availed the reservation benefits but if you apply you can get at least 40-50 thousand INR per year. The admission process is simple and easy enough for everyone.
