Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I am highly interested in studying Computer Science and Engineering. Faculty: student ratio 0.1. The qualification of the faculty is P.Hd and the teaching method is fine. Every 3rd month we have our exam and it was not difficult to pass the exam.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Google, Uber, Microsoft, ServiceNow, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Atlassian, Flipkart, and the roles offered are of a software developer with an average stipend of 50000. Projects are made on ML, Web development, and AR/VR.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies visiting our campus are Google, Uber, Microsoft, ServiceNow, JP Morgan Morgan Stanley, etc. and no of offers made is 10-12 by each company. The highest package provided is between 80 lacs to 1 crore and the average package is 1600000. 98 percent of students get placements from our college. My plan is to enter the corporate world after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike policy is that fees hikes by 5 percent every year and the cost to study currently is 125000. Sharman scholarship with the financial assistance of 30000 and WE scholarship of 100000. I have not received any job yet.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Tarrangana and the tech fest is Innereve. Tarangana is conducted in march and Innerve in September. All the books and journals are usually available in the library. The classrooms are quite good. A sports fest called Ignite is conducted in February and extracurricular activities are frequently conducted. Technoliteray club Rotaract communities are run by students.

Admission

The eligibility criteria for the course was qualifying for jee advance with a class 12th pass with 75 percent. The official website of JAC can give details of the application form application fees and application dates. I am from the General category. The admission process could be made faster and smoother.

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.

The reason I choosed this college is because of its placement and intership opportunities the college is women focussed therefore for females good opportunities are provided and even if someone is in core branch even they can dive into tech for igdtuw one has to apply for jac counselling (delhi colleges btech ) and here the state quota is around 85% and other state 15% therefore cutoff for other state is quite higher than the homestate candidates Candidate should have 60% in boards (pcm) Given Joint entrance exam (JEE) Applied for JAC counselling...Read More

IGDTUW Revealed – A Glimpse into Campus Life, Career & Chaos.

So I applied only through JAC Delhi, and honestly? I didn’t go too deep into applying everywhere else because I knew my focus was fixed on Delhi colleges. I didn’t want to leave the city, and I was only looking at places like DTU, NSUT, IIIT-D, and of course, IGDTUW. I chose IGDTUW ‘cause I was getting a good branch according to my JEE Main rank, and the placement stats looked strong, especially for girls in tech. Other colleges had higher cutoffs for the same branches and I didn’t want to settle for something random or not-CS related. So this was the best option that clicked. Admission process is all through JAC Delhi counselling. You need a valid JEE Mains score, and the cutoffs are different for Delhi and Outside Delhi categories.
