What Students Say
Likes
- Placements are really good as all the dream companies offer jobs.
- Infrastructure is really good which makes the campus beautiful. Canteen is also really very good.
- Faculty members are well qualified from prime institutes.
Dislikes
- Campus size is very small and sports facilities are almost null. The indoor sports complex is really good but only hostellors have access to it. No one is allowed to play anything before 4pm.
- Extra curriculum is very poor as Societies and clubs are not that active
- Senior interaction is also really bad. Seniors are not that approachable.
Course Curriculum Overview
Chose ECE in sector 62 because the placements here are really good and the campus is situated in a prime location. The class size is 30 students. Most of the faculty is really good and helpful. Some of the teachers are not that good but that's very normal. Most of the teachers have masters or Ph.D. from an IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITS, or the reputed central universities. We have lecture and tutorial classes separately. The term exams were held according to the schedule without any delay and the term exams are a bit difficult.
Placement Experience
The placements are good. Students from the 7th sem become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Atlassian, Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Qualcomm, texas instruments, Infosys, TCS, IBM, etc. The highest package for the 2022 batch was 1cr+ offered by amazon. The highest package for 2023 is 83 lpa offered by Atlassian. Avg package is 8.8lpa I am also looking for placements but if I am not able to grab a good placement then I'll consider education overseas.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first year's fee is 2.7 lakhs which increases by 10% every year. The total sums to around 12 lakhs for 4 years. There is only 1 scholarship-william webster scholarship given to the topper of the batch.
Campus Life
IMPRESSIONS is the annual techno-cultural manegerial fest of JIIT which takes place in the month of march. Fests do not take place that much. The library is decent and most of the Books are there. All classrooms are fully air-conditioned with a projector. Sports in sector 62 are almost null. There are many clubs and societies but none of them is as active as they should be.
