- Infrastructure of vgec os good. Greenary is quite good. Some places are very peaceful. Location of collage is good. You will find all the things around collage.
- Seniors are very supportive. The are always ready to help you.
- Faculty of science and humanities department is very good. They all are very experienced.
Dislikes
- Vgec do not have a cantine. You have to go tu gtu cantine but gtu is also going to shift ots campus sp you will find difficulty in finding food in college.
- Management is not so good. They do not follow proper schedule. Before one hour they tell that you examination time has changed now come in afternoon.
- Labs in IT and computer department are not so good. Classrooms are very conjusted.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is quite old. As it comes under GTU you will face so many delays in examinations and in other things as well. Faculty here have a decent knowledge of subjects. Almost all of them have done M.tech. and some are pursuing phd degrees. Some of them are quite supportive and some are not. As it is a government college you have to study on your own. Very few faculty complete the syllabus. Coming on examination you have to give a class test, mid-semester examination, and viva for internal assessment. And the final exam is taken by University. You can pass the gtu exam easily but to get good marks you have to study hard. The level of paper os decent.
Placement Experience
The placement is decent. The average package is 4 lacks per annum. But mostly students of Computer, It and Ec got placed. Then Electrical and Chemical students got placements. Other branch students do not get handsome placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a government college the fee for boys is 1500 and no fees for girls for one semester. Term fees taken by the college are nearly 900 for both of them. The examination fees are about 1000. You can opt for a government scholarship. Mysy and all. No extra scholarship is provided by the college.
Campus Life
The campus of vgec is good. Infrastructure is very good but at the same time finding classes, you will find very difficult too. Paths are very confusing. For new students, it will difficult to reach their classes. Some clubs are quite active. You will find good clubs over here.
Admission
The admission process is done by Acpc concealing. You are given a rank based on your GUJCET(entrance test) and 12th board results. You are allowed to give your college and branch choices and based on cutoffs you are allotted a college.
