My College Experience

I choose BCA because my interest is in the IT field. I was always interested in new technologies and in programming, I know a little bit of programming before taking admitted to BCA. so I searched for courses and I found this course very relevant. The faculty looks good and students also make a good environment during their studies. Here Teachers are experts in their subjects. Their teaching method made complex topics easy. The professor is highly qualified from top universities where every child has a dream to go. The curriculum is quite outdated it consists of a variety of programming languages like C, Python, and Java to new-age technologies like IoT, Artificial Intelligence, etc. A new add-on course is also added every semester which has scope at that particular time. They provide us with more and more information about our course and also guide us for our future. The terms are always on time but due to the Pandemic sometimes they are delayed by 2/3 days but they are covered in time. The exams

From the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc come to the college to hire students. Incentives for BCA after placements are maxed at 3 lakhs and the minimum starts from 18000 and more. Various training activities for Employability skills, soft skills and certificate courses are also provided. My aim after my completion of graduate is likely to get a job with good incentives and to complete MCA side by side.

Here students have many scholarship options right from the first year of college with loan facilities by the college with zero interest. The fee structure of this course is reasonable as this course provides many workshops and add-on courses with the regular syllabus.

Various events are held by the college one of them is Yuva Mahotsav Inter-Collegiate Cultural Competition. In students can participate in different events like debates, dance competitions, skits etc. The libraries are always stocked with knowledge and required books. There are many computer rooms arranged according to the course requirement. There is a gym room where we can exercise. For the people who participate in various competitions, there is a space called an auditorium for them to rehearse. There is anThe BCA department has its own club namely "Infomaniac" where many workshops and events are organized by students for students and teachers. "Jigyasa" is a college event for many cultural-based competitions organized by the BCA department with other two departments. There are many sports competitions also, extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS available for students. BCA department's own website and social accounts are handled by students.

The admission criteria needed to take admission to Smt.P.N.Doshi women's college, for BCA is a score minimum of 45% in 10+2. They were very helpful. Since the college is for girls there is a lot of scholarship included from which we can apply and get an education with minimum fees. The Scholarship is not only for ST and SC caste students, there are some scholarships available for Open Category caste. And even middle-class people who cannot afford education also get instalment facilities for repayment of fees which is the best thing about this college.
