Best college for placement and hostel life

The course curriculum is pretty hectic, there are so many theory and practical classes, and students don't get much time for their hobbies. The purpose for choosing this course was the placement, the placement of this college is pretty handsome, and the average placement is 14.2 lakhs. Faculty to student ratio is 1:20 which is pretty good, All the faculty here are well qualified, and all of them have completed their MTech and PHD from a reputed college like IITs NITs and other top colleges. Our course consists of 4 years each year has 2 semesters each semester consists of two exams mid sems and end sems, passing exams are pretty easy, passing percentage here is 98%.

A good number of internships are offered here. Last year 200+ students got internships in different companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Tata, Flipkart, Trident etc. Stipends offers vary from 20k to 1.5 lakh. Students must have a proper knowledge of DSA, web/app development, and good coding skills to crack internships in better companies.

Considering placement opportunities it is the best NIT one can get at a decent rank in jee mains. Students get to sit in placement from the seventh semester. Many top companies such as Amazon, Flipkart, TATA Steel, Oracle, Accenture, etc visit here. The highest placement is 75 lakhs and the average placement is 14.2 lakhs, Around 97 per cent get placed. I want to join a top software developer company after my btech degree.

Every semester the fees are around 104000 of which 62500 is tuition fees and the rest is a hostel, mess and other fees. There was a price hike of 5000 rupees from last year. Many policies are made for financially weaker sections. students having a family income of fewer than 5 lakhs has a fee remission of 2/3 of tuition fees and full tuition fee remission is provided to students having a family income of less than 1 lakh. Scholarships like e kalyan are also available for students. There are many job opportunities such as software engineer, developer, processor, etc

Life at campus is pretty well.Campus size is around 350 acres, hostel here are one of the best compared to other NITs.There are many fests which happens throughout the year such as ojass, culfest, technica, pravardhan, etc.There are many social activities so that the student interact with each other. Library here are fully furnished and has enough books and wifi facilities. classrooms here are fully air conditioned have smartboards.sports fest like URJA happens every year and there are many clubs like drift, revanta, lds, qunite, rooh, beat breakers, etc for extra curricular activities. Social groups like NSS, Sankalp helps in upliftment of society.

Hostels here are among the best if compared to all NITs. Every male student here gets a single room with a balcony from the second year. hostel room has lan facilities and clean bathrooms. The food at the mess is just average sometimes below average, the menu is pretty much the same every day except for the weekend. The registration process for hostels is very smooth. affordability is enough, every student gets a shared room in the first year and a single room in the second year. Students don't need to search for PGs as there are enough rooms to accommodate everyone

The admission process was smooth. Admission was based on the rank secured in jee mains. Counselling was done through josaa, the application form can be found on josaa website and candidates get their seats according to their rank by round 6 of josaa counselling. There are reservations for obc sc st gen ews and home state students.
