A brief look of In and out PSIT

I have chosen this course because I have good alignment in the Electronics field of Physics and also it helps in many Government job exams. The faculty-to-student ratio was about 5:60 all the faculties are very well educated almost all are Ph.D. holders in their domains but as every coin has two sides some are not made for the teaching profession although they have a good amount of knowledge. Term exams are after the end of every semester which was almost 5-6 months and the difficulty according to me was intermediate. I mean if you paid 60% attention in the exam then you will definitely get good marks.

The internship opportunities are provided to the student from the beginning of 3rd year itself the major recruiters are Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Infosys. Mainly internships are offered for the role of Software developers and Junior developers where they have to maintain a particular part of an app Or site.

Students become eligible for placements after the 6th semester some good companies like Infosys, and Wipro visits the campus also many other companies are also interested in the college as it has a good reputation in North India. Overall 90% of students get placed after the completion of the course the average package offered is 5lpa and the highest package to date is 45lpa. After the completion of the placement, I wanted to get a good job and be financially independent.

The fee amount was fixed in the college it will not increase once you were taken admission at a cost you have to pay the same amount for the whole course. However, the examination fee for every year taken by the university was too high around 8000. Regarding scholarships every year you have to fill out the state government scholarship form and it will be provided through the government almost 90% of people will get the scholarship amount which was half of your fee. However, If you scored well in the entrance exam of the university you can opt Fee waiver seat which will be half your fee already but as it was a reward for your hard work it can't be said to be a scholarship. After opting fee waiver seat you will not be able to fill scholarship form actually college will not allow you.

The annual techno-cultural fest was "IGNITIA" Which was held every year in the month of February it was a 2-day event where various clubs organize competitions regarding their domain. The sports event was "Footprint" Which was held every year and there were almost small sports activities held every 2 months. There are many clubs and active the whole year and hold many events throughout the year.

I am a hosteller since the beginning of the course and from my experience, The hostel facility is so good they provide 24*7 electricity and water and also 2 GB of the net or provided for each person in every room there are 2 people in the room. Discussing the mess the food quality is not so good means you will only be able to eat the food not able to enjoy the food but there are 2 canteens in the campus so if you can afford you will enjoy the food also. Hostel facilities can be available by visiting the admin office and paying the hostel fee.

I come through the UPTU Entrance exam which was a state-level entrance test for engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. I secured a good rank and applied for the Fee waiver seat in the counseling round where I get the opportunity to take admitted to PSIT as a fee waiver student which helps me in the reduction of the course fee as it gets half around 70000. UPTU is a exam which was conductwd every year by Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University(Lucknow) every year intl the month of March. The course for this exam is Physics, Chemistry and Math of 11 th and 12th standard of any education board
