Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is too good and faculty members are so humble and calm, they give instant responses to your doubts. I choose mechanical engineering because one of the reasons is my interest, I love machines, how they work, etc. And 2nd reason is Rajkot city is the hub of mechanical engineering in Gujarat so you got easily job. Especially in mechanical engineering, there are 90 seats available and all are filled. The student ratio in mechanical engineering is almost 100% boys. Teaching is so nice, and also every lab is available with the latest machines and other equipment so that you can also learn with a practical approach. The exam is not too difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I already told it's a government college, so there is no fee hike. Fees structure: for boys 1500 per year For girls free. If you want a scholarship then you can apply for the digital Gujarat scholarship which is available for every cast student. And scholarships are also available for hostel students.
Campus Life
The annual fest is not happening in college. But tech fest happens. Many books are available there are more than 9000 books in the library you can get national or international authors' books. Every year in march sports week. in which cricket, volleyball, basketball, and other sports are played. The GEC Rajkot website is run by alumni students. And also amenities available for mechanical engineering student
Admission
You can get admission to the government engineering college -Rajkot by giving the subject exam(it is taken by the Gujarat government)in which 40% weightage of gujcet and 60% consider the board exam This admission process is only available online mode, you just search the ACPC website on google and fill the form on that website.
