Value for money experience at IILM University.

I am currently pursuing B.A.LLB (Hons) from IILM University, Greater Noida out of my passion to contribute to the legal system of the country. I can certainly certify that the quality of education imparted here is true to the cost. The faculty members are really hard working and their method of teaching is very comprehended. They not only rely on theoretical knowledge but provide practical understanding through assessments and conducting various visits and activities. Semesters exams are held here and their level is moderate which one can pass if have studied properly during the class lectures and has proper notes.

As I am a first-year student in the course of B.A.LLB (Hons) here we are promised a summer internship program in June for a month under an experienced and knowledgeable advocate in the court. We would be given internships every year to enhance our practical knowledge about working and know-how of the legal system.

The students become eligible for placements in the last year of their respective courses but internships are provided in the 1st or 2nd year only. The standard of placement in our college is commendable. The highest and average package offered was INR 18 LPA and INR 7.50 LPA during the college placements in 2022, respectively. The highest salary package was offered to the MBA program. The college is really supportive towards the students, Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, etc have visited the college for the placement process. However, my plan after getting a degree is to prepare for the judicial exam.

The total cost of pursuing law from this University is 1,20,000 which is subjected to scholarship on the basis of the percentage scored in 12th grade or rank in the clat exam. Financial assistance is provided also in the terms of bank loans. The university provides internships and campus jobs to selective students.

The University organizes an annual fest known as IGNITE which is a grand event including mostly all academic, tech and co-curricular competitions. In addition to the annual fests, seminars are conducted every month on various topics and issues. Moreover, various activities and competitions are conducted by several clubs of the University. The University has a well-furnished and stocked library having books of relevant requirements. Cricket, badminton, volleyball, chess and many other sports and game tournaments are also conducted in the University by the Sports club. Almost all the clubs of the University are student-run and organised.

The hostel is very much maintained with adequate facilities provided. There are separate rooms for an individual with a choice of 2 or 3 room set keeping in mind the privacy of the individual and with the motive of providing a peaceful environment to study with concentration. The rooms are equipped with ac(optional) study table, chair, bed, mattress and a spacious cupboard. The hygiene factor is very well looked after and the quality of food is also good. The affordability of the hostel depends upon the fact of selecting ac or non ac room and sharing or non sharing rooms.

To take admitted into the course one must have scored 60% in their intermediate exams and then also have to clear an interview round. Application forms are available online and the application fees can also be paid there.
