Course Curriculum Overview
The placement packages provided by JIIT are very good in comparision to other private colleges. The college provides a competitive environment wherein a student can grow and learn a lot. The faculty of JIIT is quiet good to. The faculty members are highly qualifies and understands where the students need help. The term exams are schelduled for the end of the semester and the dates are provided at the beginning of the semester only. The exams are not too hard to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The college does provide interships after 6th semester. I'm currently in third semester and the intership opputunities open after 6th semester. There are various education related groups in JIIT like CICE , robotics club, etc whihc provide good oppurtunities for learning.
Placement Experience
JIIT provides very good campus placements. Many top companies including Google,Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. recruit students every year. The details of placements are available on the college's website.Around 97% students get campus placements every year. The average package for ECE students is around 8-9 lakh whereas for CSE students it is around 12-13 lakh with th highest packages going to around 1 cr.
Fees and Financial Aid
The academic fees is less comparable to other highly named private colleges. The college does provide scholarships about which one can explore on the college's website. The academic fee structure is fixed and is made known to the students in the admission foorm only.
Campus Life
The life at the campus provides a nice balance between career growth and fun. The annual fest is held between January and Februrary. The library provides a vast variety of quality books to help you in your academics. Classrooms are well equipped with air conditioners ,projectors, etc. The capus has two gyms, a swimming pool, basketball court, squash court, etc. The college has a students club known as Jaypee Youth Club(JYC).
Hostel Facilities
The college has two Hostels for both boys and girls. The hostel rooms are quite large with each room connected to centralized air conditioning. Each room has two sets of almirah, bed, matress, a study table and chair. The rooms also have open racks to store your everyday items. Students can opt for hostel during the counselling process. Three meals are provided each day. The quality of food is good and the taste is also very nice.
Admission
The minimum elegibility crtieria for applying in Jaypee Institue of Information Technology is to pass class XII in Science stream. The application forms are available on the college's website jiit.ac.in . One can apply on both JEE Mains and XII th boards basis. The counselling process is completely offline. Students are to report at the JIIT Campus on the given date to be part of the process.
