Course Curriculum Overview
In todays time Computer Science is fastest growing industry and also it is interesting to study for me. I always wanted to become a software engineer as I am good in coding and maths.In our college teacher student ratio is 1:60 which is quite very beneficial for us to ask our doubts and teacher also focuses on everybody.Teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields most of them have done P,hd or M.tech and teching method is very excellent they teach us new thing through giving real life examples which we can relate to our daily life and never forgets,In our college 2 sessional and 1 Pre-University examinations are conducted and at the last our university exam takes place at the end of each semester. 2 sessionals are held with 1 month gap in both and PUT takes place 1 month before end semester exams.
Placement Experience
College placement starts from end of 3 year and goes till last semester of 4Th year. In this first we have to give appitude test for each comapny and then our profile is processed furthur. TCS ,WIPRO etc. comapnies visit campus every year and hire in bulk they provides salary upto 10 lakhs per year.Cognizant have provided pacakge of 27 Lakhs per year last year to a student of our college.Mostly 75% students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
In MIET for B.tech in any branch fee structure is same as Rs.1,07,013/- only . Students can pay the fees in fractions in whole year and no pressure is provided on students for fees. Every year fees is increased by 2-3% only not more than it.Students coming from weaker sections can apply for UP Scholarship if the deatils provided are verified correctly student can get more than 60% scholarship. Every year placement record of college is also improving more than 120 students have got 5+ lakhs pacakges and companies like wipro,TCS etc hire from our college in bulk every year.
Campus Life
In MIET every year Kolhal in month of november and december and Dandiya Night during navratra is conducted in college.Kolhal is a cultural fest in which we see new talents and culture every year.Library is more spacious and have almost all the books that we require during our course and we dont have to buy any book from outside.Classrooms are well fournished and clean every class have projectors for smart study.There are many social groups runned in our college like GDSC,MLSA etc.
Admission
To get admission in MIET you should score 70% marks and clear 10+2. There were 2 ways in the past to get admission in Miet through UPSEE/JEE Mains and direct admission by percentage of 12th class but now you can only take admission through Jee Mains and direct as UPSEE exam has been dicountinued from 2021.After applying through this you are called for counselling and according to your rank and marks branch is allocated to you.
