I was deeply into computers, and graphics thing since I was a kid, and it profusely influenced me to pursue this course at IIT Delhi. The faculty-to-student ratio is almost 1:16. All the professors here have done masters in their respective courses. If you pay attention in the classes then you can grasp the course and need not be worried. it is not possible to always pay attention. So we can contact the professors to clear our doubts. Term exams occur over a period of 5-6 months. Exams are based on testing your deep understanding without missing out on minute details.

Several internships are provided here. You can apply for summer internships from your second year. Even internships here are high paid. They have to work in the semester break after 2nd year. Since I am in my first year, I don't know much about them.

From the 6th semester students are elligible to seat for placement interviews. A huge number of companies visit IIT Delhi during the placement season. Around 1300 students got placed. An increse of 35% has been observed in this data since last few years. The highest international package was 4 crores and 1.25 crore for domestic offers. I might be pursuing master degree after my graduation.

Tuition fees is 1 lakh per semester and hostel fees (including mess charges) is around 40-45k per semester. So total cost for foour years sum up to about 10-15 lakhs. I've been provided with MERIT ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP for the year 2022-2023, for securing outstanding all india rank in jee advanced.

Life on the IIT campus is the best life you could achieve in your entire life. From the view of academics, it is very intense, tense, and full of hard work. Rendezvous is the annual cultural fest and Tryst is the annual Technical fest organized in March. There is a central library with a vast amount of books and journals. There are many clubs run by students like dance club, quizzing club, coding club, music club, Hindi samiti club, literary club, etc.

You get high speed free wifi 24*7. Room has 1 bed, 1 fan, 1 mirror, 1 window, 1 study table, 1 chair, 2 cupboards, light, plug . Meal quality is average, not so good. Menu contains diffferent types of sabzi, rotis, salad, rice ,dal, etc. Registaration process of hostels take place after you have locked your college and branch choice. Intial form filling takes place online.

To give the exam you need to have 75% marks in the 10+2 system. Also, you must be in the top 10 percentile in the JEE mains exam. The registration of the form takes place on the NTA website. After clearing JEE mains you need to give JEE Advanced. If you clear JEE Advanced, you can apply for the JOSAA counseling process where you are allocated colleges and branches based on your interests and rank. Some criteria are relaxed for candidates belonging to certain categories such as: 1) SC/ST candidates: There is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination 2) OBC-NCL candidates: There is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination 3)Persons with Disability (PwD): There is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum percentages of marks required in the qualifying examination for candidates with 40 or more percent of disability
