Course Curriculum Overview

1

I chose this course because I want to get into data analytics. In statistics, we have 2 lectures a day for 6 days a week. Both lectures are taken by different professors and cover PAPER 1 and PAPER 2 as per course outlines. Professors are very qualified and hold their doctorates from IITD, IITM, and DELHI UNIVERSITY and have teaching experience in USA and UK. Terms exams are held twice a year, and a fairly difficult to score, but one can get a good score if he attends classes regularly.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Most students getting internships are from MBA, MCA, or Btech. B.Sc. Students also get internships in local companies and most students don't bother with internships. University has a very active research center and science students contribute a lot.

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for placement in their final or second last year. There are companies like Mahindra, TCS, IBM, Dr. Lal path labs, etc. who visit campus for placement. Campus placement is just fair and you are on your own if you want a job because placement cell is not very much helpful. There are few placement from statistics and most students opt for higher studies or apply for open placement and get data analyst posts or other in private firms.

Fees and Financial Aid

The first-semester fee is 6027 INR, and it varies throughout the course for each semester. There are many scholarship opportunities for students and also there are care funds for students in need. Campus placement is good enough, in the past 3 months, 400 placements have been made from different branches.

Campus Life

3.5

Although life is much more fun than school and you get your share of independence. The campus is full of greenery and it is a piece of art. There are many canteens all over campus and it's a good place to hang out with college friends. Infrastructure is moderate because it lacks Wi-Fi but classes have decent ventilation and are big enough along with projectors and lighting. Lucknow university has the biggest library in the state, and it's fully digitalized. You can get any book you want from the Tagore library and also you can study in study halls as well. The Tagore library also has a cyber library in jt with great internet and computers. Many sports events and activities are held all over the year, grounds are always filled with athletes and there is always some event taking place. ABVP is also very active and there are cultural and hobby clubs as well. Coding fest and cultural programs are held at University as well.

Admission

To get Admission to any of the UG or PG courses you need to write an admission test. You can apply for the admission exam from the official website. Registration begins in April. Generally, there are 100 questions about your subject as per university guidelines, and there is no negative marking. There is a reservation for EWS, SC/ST/ OBC only if you have a state-level certificate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
