Course Curriculum Overview
I was genuinely interested in doing Civil engineering. The faculty is well qualified with the best knowledge in their fields and there is a sufficiently high faculty-to-student ratio. The exams are conducted in a regular fashion to check practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are mainly presented to computer science students and some of the chances to the other core branch students in consultancy and analyst jobs. Most of the core branches remain devoid of any such opportunities.
Placement Experience
From 4th semester of your degree programme, one becomes eligible for the well awaited placement opportunity by any student. It is a rigorous process. Mostly computer science students are on an edge in getting placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are considerably high at 6 digits per semester. There are scholarships but mainly for students from economically weaker sections of society. There are opportunities to work on projects under professors along with a stipend.
Campus Life
Rendezvous in the month of October and Tryst in the month of March. The classrooms have good furniture and the library is well furnished with the latest books. There are numerous clubs to encourage participation from students in various sports and extracurricular activities.
Admission
I took JEE Advanced in the year 2020 admission to BTech courses, which can be given by any student who has passed 12th standard from any board with a min of 75%. No, overall it is an exam conducted in the most transparent manner. The cutoff is fairly high to get admission to the top notch IITs.
