My knowhow about internships

Because I was having a keen interest in the subject of mechanical engeneering and also due to the great reputation of IIT Dehli . The QS world ranking of mechanical engineering branch of iit dehli is 64 which is actully quite impressive .The faculty is to student ratio is also quite impressive here. we roughly have a ratio of 1 is to 80 . Faculties always try their best to make us understand the concepts and use various methodologies . The faculties here are quite supportive and highly qualified and are absolute masters of their subjects and most of them have been iitans themselves and further have degrees from various foreign universities . (Mostly from US and european universities ) . Exams here happen quite often depending on the subject some happen weekly others monthly while some happen twice in a semester . Acadmics is the priority here at iit dehli and subjects are not easy at all . You need to go through the concepts deeply to score good .

Sorry but I haven't attended any internship yet so it is difficult to tell about internship but I have heard about lot of students going for exchage programs in foreign universities . OCS here is responsible for placements and internships .

IIT Dehli is well known for it's placement scenerio . The average package here being 18.5 lacs per annum Also all the compaines you have in your mind , all of them visit the campus for placements given that they are allowed . Most of the students who sit for pacements get placed . Highest package offered was 4cr per annum . Almost 95% students get placed . As far as I am concerned I am exploring and looking towards all possible options .

The fee is hiked by 10 percent in each semester and there are seperate charges for hostel . Overall fee is a bit too much according to me . Though there is relaxation for SC/ST and low income people . Scholarships are also offered based on income , category , branch . Most famous being Dalmia scholarship .

As we know campus life of iit dehli is just amazing . A nice 320 acre well built campus with an amazing and state of art infrastucture and a peer group consisting of the most intelligent brains of the nation your growth here is just next level . There's a big library consisting of thousands of books and well maintained facilities . Classrooms are also very well maintained and very neet and clean . Sports facilites are upto standards . There are well maintained criceket football basketball and all other sports . There are clubs related to every domain like dance music design etc .

The rooms are clean and well furnished and you are provided with a table chair and a shelf and almirah overall the quality of rooms is quite good . The menu is uniform and covers all kinds of dishes and makes the diet well balanced . Meal provided is good but can't be compared to your homely food .

Admission in IIT Dehli happens through Jee advanced (application fee is 2800INR) . ALSO Admission for general category in IIT D happens upto an advanced rank of 5.5K . The admission happens through jossa counseling and all dates and deadlines for application are decided by JOSSA . Also you can get a lot of information regarding dates syllabus and other relevent information on Jee advanced official website . Also you will get a previous year question papers on the website . The reservation criteria is the usual one . Also there is some reservation for Girl candidates ( 20 percent of the total seats in each category are reserved for girl candidates ). The admission process can be more simplified instead as there are multiple rounds . We can just simplify as we have multiple layer of checkings so we can just combine them to a single layered more effective check up of documents . The other thing we can make it a bit simple
