Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it is something i wanted to pursue as computer science was a field I wanted to have my career in. The faculty :student ratio would be around 1:5. All the faculty members have received there phd degrees from renowned institutes and are well educated and good at teaching. Three exams are taken in a semester T1,T2 and T3 every 1.5 months and you need to understand the basics thoroughly to pass the exams. The exams difficulty level is moderate
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are quite good and placements are also good , many students get preplacement offers also and the max internship stipend was 80k last year and max salary offered was 1 cr international offer.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is around 12 lakhs tuition and development fees for 4 year btech program And 8 lakh for hostel for 4 years. Which is quite a huge amount. Scholarship like William Webster is provided and many other govt Scholarship can also be availed.
Campus Life
There are two annual fests in both jiit sec 62 and 128 that are impression and converge respectively which are conducted in March. The library or LRC(learning resource centre) have good number of books and e books are also available you are issued a library card as well as genres of books are available . Classrooms are well lit fully air conditioned and smart classes. Sports facilities include table tennis badminton court basketball court football ground,swimming pool. There are many societies like dance society dramatics society music society technical clubs,etc...
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are fully air conditioned they provide you with a cupboard ,bed ,mattress,study table, rack, etc.. with an attached balcony and common washrooms and bathrooms. The mess food is good and hygienic and menu has a variety of food. The hostel is a little expensive and pg would cost way less nearby areas for pg include indirapuram if sec 62 and botanical if sec 128
Admission
Yes the admission process needs to be more transparent and easily accessible to everybody and more uniform and should follow all government guidelines not only that but also the colleges should reduce and keep the application forms amount as minimum as possible .
