Review from an unbiased student.

I took CSE because firstly the placement of this course is much higher than the other courses and secondly this course is quite lighter to study than others. Like if you take ECE you will have to study more. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite fine sometimes a teacher teaches only 1 batch at a time. Almost all the faculty members are Ph.D. or pursuing one while teaching. There are 3 exams in one semester and it is quite easy to pass them otherwise it depends on the subject as well.

There are not many internship opportunities in the college. Only 5-6 people in total get the offer. Microsoft came for an internship and gave 2 people internships. But students can apply for off-campus as well.

From semester 7 you can sit for placements. Abode, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys and many others visited. The highest package was of 54 lakhs by adobe average package is around 6.5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is to start a business.

The college is quite high. The college just raised 25k rupees in hostel fees summing to 1 lakh per semester. The cost to study is also quite high which is approx 2.5 lakhs a year. There are as such no scholarships unless you are a board or jee topper. Placements are decent in the college and Microsoft also came last year.

The annual fest is Impressions in the sector 62 campus and Converge in the sector 128 campus and they happen in the month of Feb. The library is quite big and you can find a plethora of books on one topic or subject. Sports facilities are not too good, especially in sector 62 campus.

The hostel room has a table, a chair , one cupboard and AC. The meal is okay. The menu changes every week and you can see the variety as well. For registration you just need to submit a form and fees for hostel will appear in your web portal and as soon as you submit the fee you will be provided with the hostel. If not hostel you can find pg's and flats in indirapuram or in sector 62 .

You must secure 97 percent in boards to take CSE in JIIT and rank up to 50000 in JEE. You can find the application form and other details on the official website of Jaypee. The improvement I would like to see is that the form is quite long to fill it should be short.
