Course Curriculum Overview
I have a little bit interest in mechanical field that's why i chose this course. All the facultys are well educated from well known universities such as IITD, IITR etc.All faculty teach very well through digital board or through projector or on normal black borad depending on topic or work.
Internships Opportunities
At igdtuw many big companies come like Google, Microsoft, Uber, Adobe, Tesla etc.For Google highest package of 59.45 lpa stipend offer was 1.16 lpa. i have not faced this phase yet as I am currently in second year which is about to end in may 2023.
Placement Experience
From thirds year students become eligible for campus placements. No of companies visited is 85 and no of offers are 575. highest package is 59.45 lpa and average package is 19.15 lpa. At igdtuw placement rate is around 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to do job in Tech Field.
Fees and Financial Aid
IGDTUW has minimum course fee comparatively to other colleges like DTU, NSUT and IITS. A normal student can afford its fees easily. As IGDTUW is a girls college so its increases the chances for girls to study further and this college provides a very good opportunity in internships and placements I've applied for Merit Cum scholarship .
Campus Life
TAARANGANA is the annual cultural fest of IGDTUW. It is a two day cultural fest. After covid it is conducted in the march or april. All types of books and journals are available in the library. One can easily issue them with the help of their Id card of college. IGDTUW has basketball court which is a little bit small in size. Synergy is the sports team/society. IGNITE is the annual sports fest of igdtuw which is organised in JLN Stadium every year. Igdtuw Resources is the website which is made and run by students of igdtuw. It provides all the study materails and pyqs and many more reagarding subject. website is igdtuwresource.info
Admission
The student should have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. The student must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English at the 10+2 level. Student will have to clear JEE MAINS entrance exam.
