Likes
- AC in every classroom.
- Crowd is pretty decent. There are several clubs which organize various events time to time.
- Some Teachers are quite helpful. They can give you plenty of valuable advice.
Dislikes
- The Campus is too short. There is not so much space to explore.
- There is no ground in the college. The students have no place to play in the college.
- No sports team of the college. College doesn't help students in terms of sports.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course to excel in my career in the management field. Student: Faculty is 6:60 Most of the faculty are Under graduated while some are post-graduated. Very few faculty members have PhD degrees. And the teaching is not so good and not so bad. So it's pretty average in my opinion. Term exams are about 5 months after the start of the semester and if you've studied thoroughly on regular basis then it's not that hard to pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
Wipro has offered an assistant subordinate role within their company with a stipend of 4 thousand rupees. It was a good experience as a fresher to learn many new things about the corporate sector and many more.
Placement Experience
In the 4th semester, students got training for their campus placement. Detroit, Wipro. Companies like these visits the campus for placement drives. The highest package is 5 lakh per annum offered to a BCOM student. There is almost 99% of ratio students get placed in this college. My plans are for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees, in my opinion, are quite high for a middle-class guy to afford. Most of the courses have 1 lakh fees per year or more than that. So a middle-class guy has to think twice before getting into the university.
Campus Life
Recently the university has conducted its annual fest named "Anugoonj". Books are easily available, you've to bring in your ID card to get the book. There is no such thing as sports in the university. There is no ground, so barely any sports-oriented program has been conducted within the university. I've joined a club named "IT CLUB". There are several clubs as well in the college.
Admission
So the eligibility criteria are to pass the common entrance test known as IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. IPU CET is for the courses like BBA, BCA, and BCOM IN IP University. You can find the application form on the IP University website which is www.ip.ac.in. And the fee for the application form is 500 rupees for every course. There are not so many reservations at IP University. Only St & SC can get the benefits of reservations in it.
