NOT A REVIEW BUT REALITY OF JSS NOIDA

I chose Electronics and Communication branch as it is a evergreen branch. The course is good here and placements as well. However, teachers are bit strict and but not much in terms of attendance. 1:5 would be ratio of girls and boys in my branch. Exams are good and passing it is not very tough, however you still have to work hard.

The college itself doesn't provide any internship on its own. In campus internships are not there in our college. Students do get a lot of internship but on their own. College helps in industrial training and gives NOC in last year as well.

Students become eligible for in campusplacements since 7th semester. Lot of companies come for un campus placement including big names like Amazon, Adobe and many more. Almost every student eligible to sit for placement can get a offer, however everything depends on package. Last time the highest in campus placement was around 60 lacs. I am thinking of doing MBA after completing the course and doing job for couple of years.

Fees is average... That is 1,20,000 when I am writing this review. Almost every student can get placement, if they want it, that is level of the college and students. But in terms of internship not every one gets it as no in campus internship are there. Students apply on their own. Getting Holidays for internship is also bit difficult in my branch.

Life at campus is great. Located in Noida City, we have quite good City life. Not like other college located near some highway. Many clubs and sports groups are there and a lot of students participate, however college is not so appreciable about it. Funding by college is very difficult. Once every year, a fest happens and it is good. Library is well equipped and good in our college.

I live in hostel and hostel is given on basis of who comes first. Students who take admission in earlier rounds can get the hostel but later on the seats are not available so they have to rent a PG our some private hostel. Meal is bad like every hostel of this country. Both ACs and Non AC hostel are available

The admission process was very smooth and reservation was used in the process as well. JEE mains marks were used as cutoff and AKTU University curriculum was used for admission process. Application form is filled in aktu website and then admission rounds begun. We have to select for the required college and if cutoff allows us, then we can lock the college and apply for the allowed branch.
