Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my rank. The ratio here is around 300-400 students for first-year students but after that, it reduces to around 50-100 students depending on the department they are enrolled in here. The faculty are highly qualified and great at teaching. But exams are tough here so you need to study regularly.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is also great, companies start coming for second-year students only the stipend is also decent ranging from 10000 to even going up to 15 lacs for the top companies. We also have great opportunities for research and development.
Placement Experience
The placement record of our college is great, students are eligible to apply for placement in their 7th semester and most of them get placed also with a great package. All the big companies come to offer placement in our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 1.3 lac per semester which is similar to other IITs as well. Being a general category student I don't get to avail any of the scholarships or financial aid provided but still, loans are available if students find it difficult to pay.
Campus Life
The campus life is great we have a library for studying and great air-conditioned classrooms. We also have almost all kinds of technical and cultural clubs to pursue our hobbies. Our fests are also one of the biggest fests in India.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are decent here, we get all kinds of basic amenities like 24-hour electricity and water supply. The mess is also good which has good food we can get extras if we need for nominal charges in the mess.
Admission
I had to give JEE Mains and Advanced exams to get admission to this college. The exam is and only a few of the participants get admission here. Hence it has the best brains in the country and it is an outstanding college with a great package.
