Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are good and excellent in their respective fields. Though courses may be tough for some students. Almost every faculty member is members educated with Ph.D. and more. Make to female ratio is about 1 to 4.

Internships Opportunities

Companies come to grant internship opportunities after every summer break. Moreover, information about internships is also circulated via mail between semesters. Companies for both research and industrial sectors grant internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

Placement season comes every year likely for last year's students. The company from various fields including cooperate and research-based companies are present. The average package is like 10 to 15 lakhs CTC and the highest fits cores. Almost everybody gets placed though depending on the skill of the person also.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees have got quite high now. Turton fees cost lakhs of rupees. Moreover, fees of the mess hostel and other expenditures increase this hike in the fees. But scholarship is also provided by the college as well as other sources like ngos.

Campus Life

Fest like antaragni for the cultural fest, Techkriti for the technical fest, and Udghosh which is a sports fest organized every year in the college for the campus people and others. Moreover, there are more than dozens of clubs in MnC, SnT, etc.

Admission

I took jee advanced exam in 2021 and got qualified for it. Eligibility is you should be in grade 12 or just after 12th grade you can give the exam. The application process and things related to it are done online.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats. Admission process for B.Tech at IITK is through JEE Advanced exam, after qualifying JEE Mains. You also neend to satisfy cutoff for branches. Admissions are handled by JoSAA Counselling....Read More
