Morning 6.30 class is pure bliss for field experimental courses
Good water and class room lab facility very good to learning
Staffs are very experienced and easy to company

Dislikes

More distance from hostel to faculty. We use cycle to reach the class
In the summer very irritating in experimental learning. Beacuse too hot in our region
In Midsemester two exams are conducted in same day.that was very difficult to concentrate on the exams

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course for my interest in agriculture. It is located in Chidambaram main. And it is 1000 acre area. Our faculty contribute nearly 40 percent of the area. lots of research farms. Commercial farm. experimental farms are there. The teaching method is a little bit bad compare to tnau. There are 2 semesters per year and 6 months per semester. A minimum of 60 percentage marks are enough for passing exams.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 38000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are based on the community and post metric scholarships for merit students and first graduate scholarships and special scholarships for physically disabled and ex-servicemen daughters or sons. The fee for my course here is only 38000 per year.

Annual festival is floragala. It is cultural event celebrated annually for final year students.A lot of events competition are available and republic independence day,womens day,pongal celebration. Agriculture day,world food day, world soil day farmers day are celebrated very grandly

Hostel Facilities

Free wifi facility,mess ,canteen,stationary shops are provided in our hostel. The meal quality is very enough for students and special dinner are also provided.menu are idly,dosa pongal chapati poori and full meals

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

There is no entrance exam for joining this course. You can apply online. The eligibility criteria are the completion of 12 with a minimum of 50 percentage of the mark. And after one-month direct counseling is conducted through the seats allotted for the students.

Frequency of exams is 2.30 hours for theory , misdemeanor 45 minutes , practical 2.30 hours , there is no difficulty in the timing of exams.

This course have the last two semester that is the fourth year as all India study tour rave and experiential learning in which you have no exams from the TNAU by rather than focusing on field in our experiences of the student by the students are placed upon in particular village allotted to area office so the students would face the struggles and experience of an agricultural officer in field level and get contact with the farmer and intraway we also get many certificates it will be useful for as career in all India study tour we are exposed to various states and cities of total India we will travel to various station in located in all over the country and we also get a huge exposure to it in inexperiential learning we are allowed to choose two modules in which one for one subject based upon the college this providing at the time we get exposure up on the practical and the industrial aspects of how to produce something either in the field of agriculture Horticulture aquaculture poultry etcetera. Clampes you based upon agriculture aspect and it is also useful for UPSC aspirants too improvements is that you can add some transportation facilities from main city to this college because it's located in the rural area and also there are need to be more labs of higher advanced the exam is for two and half for a 40 marks of the final year exam and the practical exam maybe depend upon external who comes mostly it is also around some three hours and The Viva may extend up to many time based upon external and the midsem for 1 hour
