Societies - ComSoc CVS, a great opportunity for personal growth and development
Course- an overall complete courses in many aspects.

Dislikes

Infrastructure - not very fascinating. The new building is comparatively better but the old building is not gery well developed

Course Curriculum Overview

Decent faculty members are available. Students in the bachelor of business economics are around 80. Economics along with finance is studied in this course making it similar to economic honors but with extra subjects. If you have an interest in economic statistics and finance then this course is for you.

Internships Opportunities

The placement cell of the college is quite impressive. Big companies like EY, D.E. Shaw, etc. And regular internships are offered to students of all courses and all years. Along with this various roles can be seen.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for a Bachelor of Business economics in CVS is one of the most expensive courses. The fee is around 27000 per year excluding the study material and travel expenses. No scholarship or financial assistance is provided on campus.

Campus Life

Life is awesome on campus. Several societies, including the academic as well as cultural, are active in the college. The annual fest Tatva is generally conducted during February, March, or April. Books are available in abundance in the library for almost all the courses. ComSoc, The Commerce Society of CVS is an extremely active academic society giving a lot of exposure to students professionally and personally. One can observe personal growth, knowledge as well as socializing to a great extent.

Admission

I took admitted by giving DU-JAT. Coming from the general category the cut-off was comparatively very high than that of reservations. Students got BBE in CVS till approximately 900 ranks (for the general category).

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Maims college detailed review

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college for my course BBA pretty good. The college is also Offers internship opportunities. We can expect an average package of around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for BBA. The students become eligible for campus placements from fourth semester onward. Some of the companies that have visited our colleges include KPMG Deloitte. The education tree, the highest package that someone got from our college was of around 60 lakhs and the profile offered to him was in finance. The percentage of students getting placements are around 8290%. My plans after getting this degree includes to do a post graduation in the fields of business only and then get

Placement Experience:

Placement Deptt of College is very good and students got eligible after 5th Semester for Placement. During Placement Drive, all the top level companies visited to College Campus, even I got 4 Offers from different companies, whereas i Joined ICICI Bank due to flexible working hours and salary pakcage was good also.

Placement Experience:

Well the placement of this campus are not as good as the other colleges well most of the student opt of further education while the one who don't go for post graduation would get an estimate of 300000 per annum well my plans after graduation is to do post graduation which is MBA.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in my college. There are students who call companies to come for the placements. I there are teachers too in the placement cell. But the placement record is not good. In previous years the highest placement hit was 22 lakh in my course . But the ratio of students getting placements is very few.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
