I liked the fees structure of college its quite affordable
the next best thing is sports opportunities
Attendance is not mandatory. You dont have to attend classes regularly

Dislikes

I hate the college infrastructure and toilets
Unproper functioning in college. Everything is delayed
Exam pattern and other bsdic facilities like coputer lab not available

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is nice. The facility is well trained as all of them have to clear exams for secure positions. there are about 2000-5000 students on campus. Exams are semester wise and the difficulty is not that tough you can pass after studying for 2 days only.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 1570 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very affordable. Even lower middle-class families can afford fees of the college. There is no hike in fee structure for 60 years.No scholarship and internship program as it is a govt college you have to earn it yourself.

Campus Life

College life is quite well. Only a fresher party is organized every year in the month of June or July. Most books regarding syllabus are available in the library. Classrooms are old-fashioned. There are cracks and spider webs in the room. NCC club is available.

Admission

You have to pass a certain admission test for admission to college. It's a basic subject we study in classes 11 and 12. I don't have any reservations cuz I belong to the general category. The admission process takes longer time than Pvt colleges.

The review from heart

Placement Experience:

The college provides a great scope for campus placement this was one of the main reason I took admission here.Form the second last semester the students become eligible to sit for the placement exams.The college have ties with many big companies and MNCS which provides the opportunity for campus placement. The written exam is conducted in the college campus only and the selected students are called for the interview. The main companies that visit Graphic Era Hill University are - 1:TCS 2: Infosys 3: Adobe 4: Google 5: Microsoft The highest package of the college in previous batch was 50 lakhs per annum and the average package was 6 lakhs per annum.Tough the college does not guarantee 100 percent placement but most of the students get campus placement the percentage would be around 80% . My plans after completing my degree is to get a job as a financial assistant and gain some experience and then pursue MBA .

Designing dreams in graphic Era

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities for b.com honours are decent,only few students get placed, Around 40 to 50% of students in last batch got placed. The average package offered ranges between 2 to 3 lpa while some students with better skills secured a better package. Companies like TCS,Deloitte,Infosys is very active in campus placement but you should not be concerned about placements if you are doing BCom focus on your skills and you will secure a good package or focus on masters then after you can expect a good package

campus placements are limited . tudents usually become eligible from 5th to 6th semester, but very few big companies visit for core commerce roles. some students get placed in smal firms with decent starting salaries.

Because my brother told me to do this course. Faculty is there and everything is there as per their knowledge. Student Ration 54:6. Qualification is higher and she has done a Ph.D. Teaching teachers are mind-blowing. Term exams are accurate and on time. what is difficult, if you study, it will not be difficult.

Remarks:

Positive remarks is good fees structure and provide scholarship for poor students and the negative remark is the building of that college is very old and messy. It should be renovated. And providing a good canteen also.

Oerfect college

I didn't apply to another college I just want to be a part of DAV College because of the structure as a middle class family was good second and thought about MKP but the environment was to unhealthy as compared to DAV. I didn't get any rejection from any colleges because I get good marks in 12th but I want to be a part of DAV so so I choose DAV. The admission admission process was simple but you first you have to clear cut exam and 12th exam board with good marks now you have to go to the campus main office so you can get the exam form and online you can also apply there will be some cut off and if you are general you have to be get good marks because SC ST OBC will get reservation also...Read More
