Course Curriculum Overview
I choose btech because I was passionate about engineering. The quality of faculty is average on a national level and good on the state level. All faculty are PhD qualified Terms exams are pretty difficult and checking is very strict.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem students are eligible for placements in our college. Many companies like google, amazon, adobe, and infosys, come to our college and also a large no of startup companies to come for placement. The highest package varies from 40lpa to 50 LPA and average is 5lpa 80% of cs it students get placed in other departments percentage is pretty low.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is slightly high compared to the quality of the college. And hostel fees are also slightly high. The mess fee is normal. I was not eligible for any scholarship and I was in my 3rd sem so I didn't get any internship.
Campus Life
Our annual fest is named Zilicon which is if three days and along with this there is also a tech fest. The level of the fest is pretty average. The library is ok but it's not 24x7 open. Sports facilities are poor There are many clubs in our college which is ok, some are good.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are triply accommodated. The hostel is very spacy and the rooms are ok. Food is pretty bad here and the menu is not changed on regular basis. There is a hostel room shortage and approximately 50% of students do not get hostels. There are many pgs available nearby.
Admission
I got admission through jee mains rank in aktu counselling. My branch I T cutoff was 65k for general candidates. Aktu counselling is an approximately 2 -3 weeks long process, which is too long, it should be reduced.
