Course Curriculum Overview
I got this course only because of my rank. The faculty-student ratio is okayish and the faculty are qualified. Exams are a problem here, weekly quizzes then mid-sem and Endsem. One semester here is about 4 months (2 before mid sem and 2 after mid sem).
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are not very much here, you have to do a lot to get one and college doesn't even support that much after getting one like attendance remittances are not provided. Projects are helped by seniors and you can approach seniors for the same too.
Placement Experience
After the 6th sem ie 3rd year, students become eligible for placements. Almost all big companies and MNCs visit the campus and give good packages. Some are Microsoft, Adobe, etc. The highest package offered is 1.01cr in 2022. Almost every student in the College gets placed until they don't desire to do so.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are two parts of the fees, first is academic fees which are currently 190000 per sem as of now with a 10% increment each year. Second is a hostel and mess fees which are about 50k. It is also for one semester of 4 months. Scholarships are available as per JEE Advanced results and in college as per CGPA/SGPA earned in any semester.
Campus Life
There are majorly three fests here namely: Vivacity- Cultural fest, Plinth- Tech fest, and Desportivos- Sports fest. Campus life is decent, there is no culture of ragging here, and seniors are helpful and interactive. There are many clubs which one can associate himself/herself with. All sports facilities are available on the campus and there are frequent tournaments with other colleges. The library has a very great collection of books.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are well maintained and cleaned frequently throughout the day. There's a problem that we have common washrooms to share. You get basic amenities like a bed, study table, fans, lights, etc. Mess is decent, the quality of the food is good and taste is subjective but it's more than edible. Hostel registration is easy and is generally done with academic registration only. There are no rooms or PG available nearby the campus.
Admission
Institute doesn't have its exam. We get admission based on rank in the exam of JEE mains. There is a reservation for anyone in the college. Application forms are available on their website i.e. lnmiit.ac.in.
