Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members are experienced with Ph.D., and Some of them are having experience in the corporate of over a decade. The university strictly follows the UGC norm in terms of the Faculty: Student ratio and across the programs the ratio is 1:24. The term exams are mostly on time with moderate difficulty levels.
Placement Experience
Placements are good, Sarala Birla University is having a dedicated T&P cell headed by Mr. Hari Babu who is having around 40 years of experience in the Banking sector. The average package offered is 450000 PA and the highest is around 800000 PA. around 30% of the students get campus placed also the organization is providing Internship opportunities to the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is moderate and mostly focused to cater the middle-class students with a family income of around 360000 PA. They also have tied up with some financial institutions for easy EMI options. Year after year there is a 10% hive on the fee except in core branches of B.Tech & Yoga programs. One can avail of PMS, Merit Scholarship. Defense Scholarship.
Campus Life
Since the University is new, not many of the fests are organized apart from Annual Fests and Inter-University Sports Competition. They have proper coaches for different sports. The campus is having all amenities for extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
In Campus separate hostel facility is provided to Girls and Boys. Mostly 4 sharing rooms, with 4-time meals with the option of veg as well as non-veg. The meal quality is good and hygienic. If anyone finds it expensive as you have to pay 96000 PA you can look for accommodation around at a cost of around 2k-3k Per month.
Admission
The minimum eligibility for admission in the MBA program at Sarala Birla University as well as at Chandigarh University is 50% in Graduation from any stream.
