THE ACTUAL TRUTH IN NITS

I chose this course for govt jobs as there are much more govt jobs in Chattisgarh so choose this course in though there are fewer placement opportunities in this course govt jobs are way much better than placement ones they may get good salaries but they spend a lot of time in the office and also job security is one the reason so govt job is much better. Only a few of the faculty are good most of them don't interact with students and have such weird attitudes toward the students. Most of the faculty are master's or Ph.D. graduate but few of them teach well not all some teacher is friends with the student want but they are few in number. The student ratio is not soo good as the girls-to-boys ratio in engineering sucks so but in our branch, it is good than most of the branches in our college. Exams are conducted timely after 3 months there is mid sem and again after 3 months there is an end-semester exam the difficulty of the exam is moderate most of the questions are asked from class notes/lectures.

There are many paid internships that companies offer now I didn't get any internship from college you need to file on paid internship, for now, maybe in 3rd year or 4th year I may get an internship from the college but there is a club called sahiyog which prepare the student for placement so that is a good thing.

As Placement are good in nits so even in Raipur it is good then most of the nits average pakage is around 10 lpa including all branches and for CSE it is 15lpa and for it it is around 17lpa and for civil it is 9 lpa as you know in civil placement is very less so as I chosed this course for govt job and most of the people get placement in this about 70-75% people get placed. There are so many companies visiting nit rr like Adani, Wipro, Google, Microsoft, etc around every student gets about 700-800 offers by the company.

Fees structure for btech is around 1.5lakh and if you are from sc/ st or you have a family income less than 1 lakh so your total fees will be around 15-20k something as you may get full fees remission on tuition fees and as I belong to sc so it is affordable for me but I live outside pg so it cost around 1 lakh yearly so that not a good thing I cannot afford that much so we have taken a loan And most of the students don't get a hostel here as there are not sufficient hostels so they live in pgs. The hostel fees are around 45k yearly. And if you don't get a hostel so for a good pg its rent is around 3000 per month so around 36,000 yearly + mess charges will be also 36000 yearly so around 72000. I did god any kind of scholarship till now so I can't say anything about that.

Campus Life is good and there are many clubs in nit raipur like avertan for tech fest, go green for plants and greenery, ragga for music, Shruti for dance and there are much more clubs that organize functions every year and I was my first time so my experience was very much good even you can be also a part of this club just you need to fill the form for that and you need to give personal interview and for sports, their is a sports club also who organize sports fest on an annual basis.

The admission process was done by jossa and csab counseling. You need to give JEE exam if you got an appropriate rank you may get into college according to your rank through the counseling process. You make get the application form online and all information related to that on jee mains website you just need to be active. Through reservation, you make get good colleges though your rank is low so it's good for those who are availing of reservations mostly people belonging to the middle or poorer class. The admission process is good but needs some improvement like asking for money like 20-35k during counseling process is kinda weird and it takes time to refund that money if you don't want that college so some improvement is required.
