- Brand Value - The NIT tag is worth it and people recognize it.
- Clubs - They are the best place to interact with new people and make friends.
Dislikes
- Campus - The campus is very small and and most of the space is taken by faculties. Its like they dont care about students at all.
- Hostel - There is shortage of hostel and thus feeling of competition in 1st year student which ruin college life further.
- Location - Raipur is a tier 2 city so it is not so fun to live in.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in robotics so I took this branch and this was the best college I was getting according to my ranks. They don't have a shortage of faculty. All faculty have Ph.D. degrees. Exams happen twice every semester and are easy to pass if studied.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, you do definitely have internship opportunities in the course, you will start getting companies in your 3rd year, and you have plenty of options to join. The stipend ranges from 10 thousand to 2 lakh rupees. You mostly get coding-related internships offered.
Placement Experience
Placements are best part about college, Cse - 16 lpa avg (100%), IT - 18 lpa avg (92%), ECE - 13 LPA (87%), And so on you can check the official site for more details. Students are eligible for placements from the 4th year and the highest package in 2022 was 55lpa taken by 3 people and given by Adobe. The minimum package is around 6 LPA for the top 3 braches.
Fees and Financial Aid
Annual fees are around 1,60,000. If you belong to SC, ST or have a family income less than 1lpa then you have to pay no tuition fees and college cost 15,600 per year If your family income is 1-5 LPA then you have to pay 57,000 only.
Campus Life
Electika is the annual cultural fest and avartan is the annual technical fest. They are quite fun. Sports facilities are there but don't expect much. There are lots of clubs for every interest and they are super fun. Classrooms don't have AC but have a smart boards. Coursebooks are available in the library but they are scarce during exam times.
Admission
You have to clear jee mains exam and the cutoff depends on category, branch, and domicile. After josaa or csab counseling, you have to report here for the remaining procedure. The process is similar to other nits and is quite simple.
