Course Curriculum Overview
It was my interest in food technology for better future scope in the food business. Boys: girls is 55:25, Teachers are well qualified and helpful some assistant professors are quite less knowledgeable. Exams are held regularly and if you don't attend classes it will be difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Amul and Nestle are the top companies that visit Parul University they offer scientists to test various products. The stipend offered are 15000/- You must be qualified and knowledgeable to take part in a quality test of every product that is manufactured.
Placement Experience
In the fourth or fifth semester students are eligible for campus placements in the campus. Some companies such as Amul, Nestle, etc do visit the campus for student placements. Highest package is 4LPA least package is 1.6LPA. the minimum percentage is 60% for placements. After getting the degree I would like to start my food industry under fssai certification.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to the degree, fees are quite expensive and placements are not good. Also, hidden charges are also applicable. No scholarships and stipends are given to eligible students. As well as due to there is very less chance to get placed in campus placements.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Dhoom which is held in February month every year. Very less books are available in the library and that too for a temporary period of time. In the classroom, benches are the worst, and no ventilation system in the class. A social group such as"pu bsc pias officials" etc.
Admission
Eligibility 55% in class 12. Once you visit the official website the counselor will call you for admission. As an obc student, I didn't get any reservations. They must include the proper details in the brochure regarding college infrastructure.
