Engineering physics is the best course if you want to pursue a career in physics. Engineering physics encompasses all branches of physics. For every single subject in our 4-year Btech Course, there are about 3 - 4 teachers and about 50 - 60 students. So about 15:1 The faculty are well versed and are all PHDs, and the teaching method is intuitive. Major exams are once every semester at end of minor exams are every semester in the middle of the term. (1 year = 2 semesters). The difficulty of exams is moderate, not hard to pass.

After the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements, after the 6th semester the 7th and 8th semesters are specifically for internships. Apple, Microsoft, Google and more than fifty 1 crore offers were made. The highest package is about 2 crores The average package is 30 lakhs Due to the recession, the placement percentage dropped but usually, 90 per cent of students get placements. For general students, Every semester's academic fee is around 1.5 lakh rupees and hostel fees are about 50 thousand rupees. There are a lot of scopes for Scholarships lots of students receive them every semester. (women's scholarships, SC/ST scholarships, Branch specific scholarships etc.) Campus Jobs are limited.

Campus infrastructure is magnificent, large, tall, digitised buildings, with centralised Wi-Fi connectivity. Social life is rich, with lots of campus events, parties etc. like Rendezvous, Resonance, Cultural Fest, inter - IITs, sports fests etc. The library is very very vast and resourceful every book is available here Lecture halls are large and convenient Basketball, football, tennis etc. (every single sport) is played on campus.

The rooms are very small, the hostel food is subpar, the hostel affordability is good but still not worth the cost. In campus Hostels are usually opted by BTech students, most Mtech students, PHD students prefer PGs in the Hauz Khas area

The admission process was long and mostly done through the JOSAA portal after JEE Advanced. All the required documents are to be found on the JOSAA portal itself. General, so no reservation benefits. Admission could be vastly simplified by reducing the number of different forms to be filled
