Remarks

63 acres with 8 buildings including an Internet and Xerox Center , fully-equipped Recreation Center, Modern Gymnasium and spacious Auditorium. The management tries to involve only so much when it comes to students and thus give necessary amount of freedom. It is always supportive of what students want to do and even contributes positively sometimes.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE Mains, scored 297/360 to get qualified for JEE Advanced in which again, I secured an AIR 509. I opted KVCET for its reputation in Engineering and research oriented curriculum.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement process is quite smooth. You need to register with the placement cell which maintains a personalized website listing all the companies, their bios, package details and examination info. So many good companies takes place.

Campus Life

KVCET uses innovative learning methodologies for students to understand the technical concepts with ease. Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engg., & Tech has 22 online audio-visual/ multimedia classrooms with capacity of 65 each.

Hostel Facilities

Location of the hostel is within the campus premises at a walkable distance from the mainstream building. There is a mineral water plant at our campus which provides purified drinking water to our students at hostel and college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Good but not great

I got a reserved seat in this college via TN Engineering Counselling. I've applied for many other colleges but this is the one I got. The admission process is very simple, If you're a reservation student, you can take the allotment paper and meet staffs at the admission cell and they will handle the rest.
