Course Curriculum Overview

The IIT Delhi's curriculum is one of the best in our country for electrical engineering. Also, the ratio of students to teachers is also good. At IIT Delhi, there are two semesters in a calendar year. Qualification of the faculty is very good and mainly they pursue their degree from top universities of the world.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 224000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After completion of 2nd year, you will get opportunities to register yourself for an internship in July or August month and more than 100 companies came to offer internships in various fields like IT, consultancy, analytics and core.

Placement Experience

The placement of IIT Delhi is very good and the average package is nearly 18 lakh per month. In December month placement season start and over 200 companies come to recruit the students Above 90 per cent of students get placed in different companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is based on your family income. For example, if your family income is below 1 lakh per year then you have to pay only 12000 rupees per semester. And you will also get a scholarship of 1000 rupees per month if your cgpa will remain above 6.5. Job opportunities at IIT Delhi are great. If you are a little bit sincere then you definitely get a job.

Campus Life

The cultural fest is known as rendezvous. Tech fest is TRYST. Generally, these fest organised in March or April month. The library of IIT Delhi is world-class having more than 3 lakh books and journals. The classroom looks like a 5-star hotel room. There are many cultural clubs including music, drama, dance etc

Hostel Facilities

Generally, the quality of the hostel depends on which hostel you have allocated. Because many hostels are old and their facilities are somewhat average. But overall you will enjoy your life at IIT Delhi and you have various options to explore in IIT Delhi. Hostel allocation is fully in the hand of the administration and you have no role in getting this.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

Admission to IIT Delhi happens through JEE ADVANCED exam. For appearing in JEE ADVANCED, you have to 1st clear jee main. On availing reservation, i have got electrical engineering with a rank of AIR113 in EWS

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company.Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.

I applied in many colleges like SIT, VIT, BITS Pilani, Different branches of IIT, NITS. I had no thoughts of joing this college specifically. I chose the best one comparing with other colleges. M.Tech CSE IIT DELHI Review

I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges. I had applied to IIT bombay, IIT Jodhpur, IIT madras and IIT kanpur but I got offer for IIT Delhi before all the other colleges. The admission process is common for all iits as it happens through GATE score and the COAP portal.
