Course Curriculum Overview
Geology is a very very interesting course. There are very good scopes in the geology field. In total there are more than 50 faculties present in the college. But in geology, there are only 3 faculties. The total number of students in the college is 7000. But in the geology department, there are 50 students present. Faculties are well qualified and somewhat a little experienced. The teaching quality of faculties varies. Some are good at teaching and some are average. The Internal exams are held in time intervals of 3 months. After one month of the internal exams semester, the exam occurs. There are 6 internal exams and accordingly 6-semester exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission cost is 7800. The readmission cost varies according to the Honours. In geology, the readmission cost is 4100. National Scholarship is for students above 70-80 per cent in 12th. There is no campus from this college. Campus are held in Universities. The job opportunities are after qualifying for PG and entrance exams.
Campus Life
Annual fest and tech fest are conducted once a year in the month of March. Different types of books are available in the library. You can borrow them for some time and return them. There are smart classes and also normal classrooms present. Annual sports are held once a year in the month of December.
Admission
The stream of the students of 12th must be science and they should at least score 50 per cent in 12th. The application form is available on many sites like SAMS. Reservation is only for a lower cast like ST, SC, etc and also for handicapped students. Before the admission process, the students must the actual details about the college, Faculties and their qualifications, experience, etc.
