Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was interested in learning about various computer technologies and mechanics from the very beginning. In my university, there are a total of 30 batches of 80 students each. The faculty is well qualified but sometimes doubts are not cleared up to the mark. The terms are too constant as after every 15 days there is an exam which is not so difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are abundant as a large number of companies visit the campus and recruit most of the students as their interns. Many of the companies visiting are mass recruiters and provide very low packages to the internees.
Placement Experience
At Chitkara University, almost every student gets placed ranging with packages from 3-5 lakhs. There are only a few students who grab a higher package. The highest package offered in 2022 is 53 lakhs. Companies visiting the campus are google, Microsoft, Wipro, adobe, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is kind of rigid but it is also kind of affordable for most people as the fee is not that high. The negative point is that there are no scholarships at the beginning. But its return on investment is kind of good as placements are above average.
Campus Life
Fests and sports events are held on a regular basis so that students can get an escape from their busy schedules and enjoy themselves. Various clubs are formed such as dance clubs, sports clubs, drama clubs, etc. A huge number of sports tournaments are also organized for various sports.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is pretty decent. The hostel is very clean and is at a very affordable price. There are hostel rooms available with A.C. and Coolers also. Also, there are P.Gs are available in nearby localities. The food quality at the mess is slightly better than average. Although the food at the mess is very good at few days.
Admission
It's very simple to take admission in this course as you are eligible if you have scored more than 66% in PCM (i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in 10+2 class. The forms for registration are available on the university's website. Reservations are available for SC, ST, etc.
