Best College for Commerce

It was marvelous, fun n enjoyed learning different things with professor and seniors.

No entrance Examination taken, Admitted to Umes Chandra College after passing Higher Secondary / Class XII on the basis of Cut of marks.

The College is Specially for Commerce Students and has a very good Cirriculum for B. Com Students providing a wide range of knowledge in subjects like Accountancy, Taxation, Business Laws, Financial Management, Auditing, Strategic Management etc. and affiliated to Calcutta University one of the best universities of our country.

No, there is no such facility at present in Umes Chandra College but it helps students desirous of taking up internship by counselling them and providing references.

Too many opportunities but students have to catch it many of our friends got jobs in different companies and their package is also good like 30- 40k in starting. College experience is awesome i am very pleased to our teachers they are like god for us many companies comes in our college like birla, ultratech etc.

Foundation day celebration is done every year, Annual Sports Day is conducted at University Campus, apart from that Students welcome day is also celeberated to make the newly joined students familiar with the college environment & to inform them regarding the college system.

The fee structure is good and the payment system is flexible as it can be paid on monthly basis or on quarterly basis. The fees is comparatively low with other similar colleges in the city. It also provides scholarsip to needy students on the basis of their merit.

The College is only for male and the new campus which is coming up with co-education facility. the college provides for extracurricular activities like Dance, singing and in sports it conducts annual sports events which includes cricket tournament, table tennis, carrom, shess etc.

There is no such facilty at present but th college is planning hostel facility for outstation students along with new campus as there are many student who come from various nearby cities or staes like Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa etc. to pursue their Bachelor degree in commerce stream.

The College alumuni is good and ha wide reach to its students even students passed out 15 years ago are active members of the almuni.

The college conducts examination on annual basis as per Calcutta University every year and also conducts exam internally on quarterly basis for review of students for all subjects including Compusory papers and elective papers. Examination pattern and system is very simple.

Admitted to Umes Chandra College upon filling up of common application form after passing Higher Secondary / Class XII and on the basis marks obtained a Cut of list is decleared based on which students desirous to take admission whose name appears in the list can take admission witin the date mentioned in notice. Further if there is any vacancy left then a further list is decleared.
