From the perspective of B.com, the course was very much effective. there was different batches was available according to the requirement of the students.There were many festivals and events which was celebrated in the bhawanipur college. which used to include independence day, saraswati puja, and other events like umang which was inter-college event and enigma which was intra college event of the bhawanipur college.the mix of the students was very good, in comparison to the ratio of the other colleges.

I gave my 12th board examination from ISC board and passed with a 90% aggregate. I decided to opt for this college for its all around opportunities in fields other than academic which helps in a all around development of the students as and individual the college is also at accessible location so no problem in transportation. The college is also very good for students having secondary courses because of its flexible class timings. So i choose it.

The course structure is excellent with top faculty teaching at the college and they use all the modern techniques to ensure that the subject is understood by all students and they got rid of the traditional inefficient way of methodical teaching. They are very helpful with the students

Yes the college hosts many internship programme which gives us a part to intern in big companies and thus providing us with exposure.

BESC provides placement in private companies like TCS, INDIGO AIRLINES. Package is the one that companies sets for freshers i, e 1.5 lack per annum, 1.4 lack per annum. These companies take aptitude test for shortlisting selected students. Package is same as they offer to freshers.

BESC is meant for events. Through out kolkata BESC is famous for bringing celebrities for movie promotions, the fashion shows, the dance events, the designing shows and other short term vocational courses like tattoo designing, mehndi, foreign language courses, cooking courses etc.This year the college has a schedule of about 320 events thus the whole year is going to be filled with it. The college annual fest umang is one of the most popular college fests in the asia.

The fees structure is moderate as it is as high as the other top ranked colleges in the city. I had to pay 37000 approx for my admission in firsr year. There is a quota for Gujrati students and they get upto 50% scholarship on the their fees. Some students taking admission with more than 92% aggregate get upto 100% scholarship for their courses.

Gujrati students get scholarship for their courses and the students availing more than 92% in aggregate get scholarship. The college also invites 3rd partied from time to time to provide for scholarships to the students.

Overall campus life is coolest in BESC. There is no restriction on dress or anything. Lots of extra curricular activities gets organized that can help a student to do overall development of oneself. Celebrities come for promoting their movies. Lots of vocational courses such as cooking, foreign language, tattoo designing, saree wrapping, mehndi, karate classes etc gets organized from time to time The gender ratio is almost the same with girls and boys being in equal number.

There is no hostel facilities provided by the college itself but the college has tie ups with other 3rd parties so they can get a pg or hostel arranged if you are from outside the city There is a large canteen at the ground floor which serves delicious food with all ranges but only veg items are served their.

I had a very bad experience on this. The office workers don't receive Call and even if they receive then they'll tell you to visit college and have a talk to discuss any matter. I was an outstation student so I had to went through a lot of hardship, for getting even small info I had to travel all way to Kolkata. They even send you home if you're late for even 5mins for filling up exam forms. They don't listen when you explain reason for late arrival.

The exams are placed moderately over the year to give the students time to cope up and prepare well. This structure neither creates a massive pressure in the students nor lets them become casual in academics. The exam papers are checked thoroughly and marks are issued. The students who are not being able to do good consistently are called with their parents to talk to them about the problems the student is facing and to inform them so that they support the student at home to perform better.

First there was an online form fillup to to apply for enrollment and i was required to submit my details with my boards results and marksheet by uploading it to the online website for admission. Then i had to wait for the merit list which was published online on the college website in which the names of all selected students were given alphabetically. Then i have to generate an e-chalan and pay the admission fees at any federal bank branch in kolkata there were also option for online payment and draft payment. Then i was notified by message to come to college for document verification where they verified all the original documents to ensure that no edited or altered documents were uploaded during enrollment. Then i was notified by message for coming to college another day to collect my id card and then atlast they notified me via message the date of commencement of our class with my unique roll number.

The faculty is excellent with highly qualified professors and mams with all around knowledge about the subject and they can teach with ease and efficiency making it easy for the students to catch up. In the faculty there are very experienced teachers heading each department so that no trouble in functionality.
