The crowd of the college is amazing. You can meet the students of almost every part of the country
There is a huge playground for students. Thats a positive thing.
And the library is good. I often usee this in empty period.

Dislikes

There is a need to improvement in providing sports facilities .
The condition of old building is not very good.
In this college, there is no auditorium.

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason behind choosing this course is, I always want to study marketing. That's the only reason. And I was getting a chance to study at a prestigious institution like Delhi university. The faculty also teaches really well and also we have some of the best teachers available here.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

When I took admitted here, the 2nd and 3rd-year fee was slightly low in comparison to the 1st year. But a few months back it went high from 3000 approximately. Now the fee for each year is approximately 11000.

Campus Life

Honestly, campus life is good. And I guess it's the story of each college at Delhi university. The crowd is amazing. We have a library where every kind of book is available but there is a need to repair the walls of the classrooms.

Admission

I took the admission on a merit base. I got 88% on my 12th board. I never thought that with such a low percentage I would be able to convert to any college. But luckily, I got a college of vocational studies for marketing management and retail business course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

they course curriculam is quite interesting as my course reatil management and it is a very new course it is very mordern in terms of subjects subjects such as e commerce, reatil display, cargo, etc the couse helps in understanding retail with mordern ways.

Placement Experience:

From the second year people are eligible for internships and placements. Our course and college offers very well placements as compared to other colleges in terms of the industry exposure. My plan is to do the 4- year course and then do a job for 1-2 years then start my own business while pursuing masters degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I to be honest don't like my course much but it's not too bad also , it does allow you to have a practical exposure along side your studies. As the pressure of syllabus is not much. Teaching methods are not too good also but not bad too. The difficulty level is not much.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered in my college from top companies such as accenture, godrej, etc. Placements range from 6-9 lpa on average. Highest package is around 12 lacs but i am not sure. My plans after this degree are doing masters from a good university or working for 2 years.

Placement Experience:

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
